Riley Hevelow Earns D3hoops.com All-Region Honors

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley senior women's basketball standout Riley Hevelow was selected to the Third Team of the D3hoops.com All-Region 4 squad in a release by the organization on Monday.
 
This is the 25th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team, and this year's All-America team will be the 29th annual All-America selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.
 
Hevelow earns her first career All-Region honor after a great senior season, where she scored 15.1 points per game, pulled down 4.6 rebounds, and dished out 2.4 assists as the team's primary ball handler. Hevelow scored in double figures in 22 of 25 games, recording a season-high of 24 points and seven rebounds in a 73-56 victory at Moravian, and a season-high 24 points and a season-high 13 rebounds in a 68-42 victory over Marywood. Hevelow scored 20 points with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in a 49-43 defeat at MAC Freedom Champion DeSales. She also had 20 points with three rebounds and two assists in a 63-50 victory over Stevens. Hevelow ranked 12th in the region with a 43.8 field goal percentage and was 10th in minutes per game at 35.09. She had four games that she played the full 40 minutes, and six games where she played 39 minutes. Hevelow finished the year strong with 14 points in her final three games of the season, a victory over Arcadia, and then tough losses at Stevens and DeSales.
 
The guard is the Dutchmen's third different guard to earn Third Team honors in the past three seasons.
