Men's Outdoor Track and Field MAC Champions 2026

Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Earns 13 All-Conference Honors; Byler Named Coach of the Year

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the 2026 All-MAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Teams and special awards following the conclusion of the three-day championship meet on May 2. The Dutchmen had 13 All-Conference performances at the meet, with nine individuals and three relays earning medals. Melissa Byler was named the Coach of the Year after LVC won its third consecutive conference title.
 
The Dutchmen had five MAC Champions that earned First Team honors, while adding five Second Team honors and three Third Team performances. LVC scored 150 points and won by 38 points. Byler was voted as the Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year.
 
Colin Winters became LVC's first MAC Champion in the 100 meters since 2010 and earned First Team honors with a time of 10.78 seconds in the finals. He qualified for the final with a time of 10.74 seconds in the preliminaries. The junior earned his first career individual All-Conference honor. Winters was also the anchor on the 4x100 relay team that finished second to earn Second Team honors.
 
Rory Lieberman took home gold in the 5000 meters to earn First Team honors. The junior won the event for the second consecutive season with a time of 14:53.43. He earned his third career All-Conference honor as the Dutchmen swept the medals in the event.
 
Andrew Namatka earned First Team honors in the 10,000 meters as the sophomore used a strong finish to become LVC's third different MAC Champion in the event in the last four years, with a time of 31:32.62. The sophomore earns his first career outdoor All-Conference honor.
 
Michael De Falcis won the javelin for the third time in his career to pick up his third First Team honor. The graduate student had a school record toss of 66.15 meters (217'0") on his second throw to give LVC four consecutive MAC titles in the event.
 
The men's 4x800 meter relay team of Owen Kreider, Lukas Walko, Sam Rothstein, and Elijah McKell won the program's first MAC title in the event since 2023 with a time of 7:48.87 to earn First Team honors. Rothstein and McKell were also on the team that won in 2023 and finished second each of the last two years.
 
Wyatt Leitzel earned Second Team honors in two events as the sophomore finished second in the 3000 steeplechase and the 5000 meters. Leitzel began the meet with a time of 9:36.59 in the steeplechase to finish second on the second day of competition. He then came back on the third day and finished second in the 5000 meters with a time of 14:56.57. The sophomore earned the first two All-Conference honors of his career.
 
Aonghas Evanick finished second in the discus to earn Second Team honors with a throw of 45.77 meters (150'2") on his fourth attempt. The graduate student finished second in the event for the second straight year to earn his second All-Conference honor.
 
The 4x100 meter relay team of Donovan Goundie, Leo Tirado, Caleb Auzenne, and Winters earned Second Team honors with a time of 42.11 seconds in the final to finish second. They qualified with a time of 42.12 seconds in the prelims. It is the second consecutive year LVC has earned a medal in the event after finishing third last season.
 
The 4x400 meter relay team of Goundie, Rothstein, Hayden Milchanowski, and McKell also finished second to earn Second Team honors with a time of 3:21.27. The Dutchmen have finished second in the event at the last three Championships.
 
Lukas Walko finished third in the 5000 meters to earn Third Team honors with a time of 15:01.93. He earned his second all-conference honor of the meet after also being on the 4800 relay that won. The junior now has three career All-Conference honors, with one individual and two relays.
 
Joshua Leidich finished third in the 110-meter hurdles to earn Third Team honors. The junior ran a career-best time of 15.00 seconds in the final after qualifying with a time of 15.52 seconds in the preliminaries. He earned his first All-Conference honor.
 
Donnie Miller finished third in the 3000 Steeplechase to earn Third Team honors with a time of 9:43.17. The junior gave the Dutchmen their second medal winner in the event with his first career All-Conference performance. LVC has medaled in the event every year since 2021.
