CARLISLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's golf team carded a score of 328 in the first round of the Dickinson Spring Invitational on Sunday at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course in Carlisle.
The Dutchmen are 16th after the first round in a strong field of 16 teams, where eight teams carded a score under 300. Franklin & Marshall College leads the field by three strokes with a score of 278. Host Dickinson College is second with a 281, while the Devils' "B" team is third at 282. Juniata College's Ryan Hilyard and Dickinson's Ryan Wheeler are the day one leaders as they both carded a five-under-par 67.
Inside the Results
- Reagan Flynn was LVC's top golfer on Sunday with a 78 on the par 72 course. The sophomore is tied for 52nd in the field of 86 golfers. Flynn had a 40 on the front nine holes and a 38 on the back nine with 13 pars. He carded rounds of 75 and 79 at the Carlisle Barracks in the fall.
- Brody Rafferty had a round of 81 and is tied for 66th. He carded a 43 on the front nine but came back strong with a 38 on the back nine. Rafferty birdied the par-four third hole, the par-four 15th hole, and the par-four 18th hole while also recording seven pars for the round. The first-year had rounds of 83 and 80 during the Dickinson Fall Invitational.
- Brayden Herr is tied for 74th with a round of 83 on Sunday. He had a 44 on the front nine and a 39 on the back nine with eight pars and a birdie on the par-four 16th hole. The sophomore carded rounds of 73 and 81 at the Fall Invitational.
- Max Fisher finished with an 86 to sit in a tie for 78th. He recorded six pars and a birdie on the par-four seventh hole. Fisher carded a 43 on the front nine and a 43 on the back nine. The first-year had rounds on 84 and 85 at the Carlisle Barracks in the fall.
- Brady Keath carded an 88 and is 81st. He had a 44 on the front nine and a 44 on the back nine with six pars. The first-year had rounds of 79 and 78 at the Dickinson Fall Invitational.

The second and final round of the Invitational will be played on Monday at the Carlisle Country Club.
