Men’s Golf Finishes Third at MAC Freedom Championships

LEBANON, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's golf team carded a score of 339 on Sunday at the Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon to finish third with a two-day score of 665 at the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Championship.
 
Stevens Institute of Technology won the team title with a 599 after recording a round of 302 on Sunday. The Ducks had the top five finishers in the field, led by Jack Harris, who carded a one-under 71 to finish at four-under par for the tournament. Sebastian Beaver was second at 152 after a round of 77 on Sunday. Arcadia University was second with a tournament score of 662 after carding a 332 in the second round. The Dutchmen were three strokes back at 665 to finish third for the second consecutive year. DeSales University rounded out the top four with a score of 675 and a round of 337 on Sunday.
 
Inside the Results
  • Reagan Flynn led the Dutchmen on Sunday with an 80 to finish tied for 11th in the field of 40 with a 164. The sophomore carded a 41 on the front nine and then finished strong with a three-over 39 on the back nine. He posted six pars and three birdies on the round. Flynn had a birdie on the par-five seventh hole, the par-five 13th hole, and the par-five 16th hole.
  • Brady Keath posted another strong round of 84 to finish in the top 10 at a tie for sixth with a two-day score of 160. The first-year had 10 pars on the round and one birdie on the par-five third hole. Keath posted five consecutive pars and pars on eight out of 10 holes from the seventh hole to the 16th hole. He had a 43 on the front nine and a five-over 41 on the back nine.
  • Brayden Herr had an 85 to finish 15th with a tournament score of 167. The sophomore started strong with four consecutive pars and had five consecutive pars to start the back nine. He finished the day with 11 total pars. Herr carded a 44 on the front nine and a five-over 41 on the back nine.
  • Max Fisher finished 22nd at 174 after a round of 90 on Sunday. The first-year had pars on the first two holes and recorded a 43 on the front nine. He added four more pars for six total pars on the afternoon and had a 47 on the back nine.
  • Brody Rafferty finished tied for 28th with another round of 90 to card a 180 for the weekend. The first-year posted a 46 on the front nine and a 44 on the back nine. He had seven pars, including four on the front nine.
