ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's golf team is looking to be in contention for the program's first-ever conference title this weekend as they compete at the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Championship on the course of Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon.
 
The Dutchmen finished third at last year's conference championships and were picked to finish third again this year in the Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll. LVC enters the weekend with a 328.3 adjusted scoring average and is ranked 16th in the region. The first round is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday as LVC is paired up with defending conference champion Stevens Institute of Technology and last year's runner-up, Arcadia University. All five of LVC's golfers have posted low rounds in the 70s this year and have taken turns being the team's top finisher at different invitationals.
 
Reagan Flynn has been one of the team's most consistent golfers this year with an adjusted scoring average of 79.9 in 21 rounds. The sophomore finished 14th at the conference championships with a score of 155. Brayden Herr is also having an excellent sophomore season with an 80.7 adjusted scoring average in 19 rounds. He finished 13th at last year's championships with a 154.
 
The Dutchmen then have three first-years who will look to make a big impact. Brady Keath leads the trio with an 83.9 adjusted scoring average in 17 rounds this year. Brody Rafferty is having a strong season with an 84.4 adjusted scoring average in 20 rounds. Max Fisher has an 85.6 adjusted scoring average in 17 rounds.
 
The Dutchmen recorded a season-best score of 305 at the DeSales Fall Classic on the course of the Olde Homestead Golf Club. This spring they recorded a low team score of 308 at the Charger Invitational on the course at Lebanon Country Club.
