NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the 2026 All-MAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Teams and special awards following the conclusion of the two-day championship meet on February 28. The Dutchmen had 10 All-Conference performances at the meet, with five individuals and two relays earning a spot on the teams.
Melissa Byler was named the Coach of the Year after LVC won its third consecutive conference title.
The Dutchmen had two MAC Champions that earned First Team honors while adding three Second Team honors and four Third Team performances. LVC scored 135.5 points and won by 45.5 points. Byler was voted as the Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year.
Leo Tirado had an outstanding meet, earning All-Conference honors in four events. The sophomore was second in the 200 meters and the high jump to earn Second Team honors, and he placed third in the 60 meters to earn Third Team honors. Tirado was also a part of the 4x200 meter relay team that were MAC Champions and earned First Team honors. The sophomore recorded career-bests in all three individual events, starting with the high jump. He cleared 1.94 meters (6'4.25") on his first attempt at that height to finish second. Tirado also finished second in the 200 meters with a time of 22.62 seconds. He finished the weekend with a third-place finish in the 60 meters, running 7.03 seconds in the final after qualifying with a career-best time of 6.97 seconds in the preliminaries.
Elijah McKell placed third in the 800 meters and was the anchor on the 4x800 relay team that finished third to earn Third Team honors in both events. McKell ran 1:55.33 in the individual 800 to earn All-Conference honors in the event for the third consecutive year. Between the 800 and the 4x800, McKell has seven All-Conference performances.
Andrew Namatka won the 5000 meters to earn All-MAC First Team honors. He crossed the line in a career-best 14:47.18 to win his first conference title after finishing 10th in the event at the Outdoor Championships last spring.
Joe Chukoskie earned All-MAC honors in two events as he finished second in the 5000 meters on Friday and then third in the 3000 meters on Saturday. The senior led for most of the 5000 meters and finished in 14:49.28. He then came back for the 3000 meters and earned Third Team honors with a time of 8:40.58. This is his second and third career All-Conference honors.
The 4x200-meter relay team of
Donovan Goundie, Tirado,
Caleb Auzenne, and
Braden Smith won LVC's first MAC title in the event since 2022 with a time of 1:30.72. The Dutchmen started in lane seven and led practically the whole way and held off a late push from the field.
LVC's 4x800 meter relay team of
Sam Rothstein,
Lukas Walko,
Caden Bell, and McKell took home third with a time of 8:03.15 to earn Third Team honors. The Dutchmen have medaled in the event at the past five Championships.
Graison Michajluk earned Third Team honors in the Heptathlon as he finished third with a school record 4309 points. The junior finished first in the high jump and shot put while clearing a career-best in the pole vault. This is his first career All-Conference honor.
