Dutchmen Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2026 Team Captains

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley Men's Lacrosse Head Coach John Haus has announced that graduate student Jacob Mrose along with juniors Nick Gleason, and Rowan Myers have been selected as captains for the 2026 season.
 
"We are thrilled to have Jacob, Nick, and Rowan step into leadership roles this season," Haus stated. "It is a tremendous honor to be selected captain by your teammates and all three of these guys have earned the respect of their teammates on and off the field. They all possess strong leadership skills, and we are excited to see them lead this year's squad."
 
Mrose is an experienced midfielder who has played in 48 games and recorded 22 points on 10 goals and 12 assists. The Business Administration major had the best year of his career last spring with 11 points on five goals and six assists in 15 games. He also picked up three ground balls.
 
Gleason, a two-year midfielder who will be moving to a long stick defender this season, has 34 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers in 23 games over his first two years at The Valley. The Exercise Science major saw increased time on the field as a sophomore recording five points on two goals and three assists with 22 ground balls and eight caused turnovers.
 
Myers is a strong attacker for the Dutchmen with 33 career points on 23 goals and 10 assists in 33 games over his first two seasons. The Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Spanish major had an excellent spring in 2025 recording 12 goals and three assists with six ground balls and three caused turnovers. He scored the game-winning goal in the 13-11 victory over Albright.
