CARLISLE, Pa. – Brayden Herr led the Lebanon Valley men's golf team with a career-low 73 on Sunday afternoon as the Dutchmen began the season at the Dickinson Invitational. LVC is 15th out of 21 teams with a team score of 310 after the first day at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course.
The Dutchmen had three golfers in the 70s in a large field of 109 golfers. Franklin & Marshall College leads after the first day with a score of 275. Susquehanna University and host Dickinson are tied for second at 289. F&M's Max Silverman and Pablo Rodriguez are tied for medalist honors after each of them carded a five-under 67.
Inside the Results
- Herr is 22nd with a one-over 73. The sophomore started the year with his best round by four strokes. He was two-under with a 34 on the front nine and recorded a 39 on the back nine holes. Herr had nine pars and four birdies on the day. His birdies came on the par-five first hole, the par-four seventh hole, the par-five ninth hole, and the par-four 16th hole.
- Reagan Flynn is 39th with a strong round of 75, one stroke off his career low. The sophomore was even par over the front nine holes with a 36 and carded a 39 on the back nine. Flynn had nine pars and three birdies on the round. His birdies came on the par-four third hole, the par-four seventh, and the par-four 16th.
- Brady Keath began his collegiate career with a 79 to sit in 73rd. He carded a 41 on the front nine holes and a 38 on the back nine. Keath had six pars and three birdies. His birdies came on the par-four eighth hole, the par-four 16th, and the par-five 17th.
- Brody Rafferty also made his collegiate debut and carded an 83 to sit in 93rd place. He had a 41 on the front nine and a 42 on the back nine with 10 pars and one birdie. Rafferty recorded his first collegiate birdie on the par-four 15th hole.
- Max Fisher made his debut as a Dutchman and carded an 84 to sit in 97th. The redshirt-first-year recorded six pars with a 42 on the front nine and a 42 on the back nine.
- The Dutchmen had 11 total birdies on the day with three coming on the par-four 16th hole.

LVC will be back at the Carlisle Barracks tomorrow for the second and final round of the Dickinson Invitational. The Dutchmen are scheduled to tee off at 12 p.m.
