ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's tennis team is ready to begin the 2025-26 season with its fall slate of events, as the program will work toward winning a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom title. This fall, the Dutchmen have eight competitions on the schedule, including a pair of home events at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
Lebanon Valley will look to build on a strong 2024-25 campaign, in which the program posted a 12-9 overall record with a 5-1 mark against conference opponents. The Flying Dutchmen also appeared in the postseason again, reaching the MAC Freedom Final after defeating Misericordia University in the semifinals.
"Our objective for this upcoming year is to make it to the MAC Freedom Final again," Head Coach Noëlle Vahanian said. "That's the number one goal we have."
The Dutchmen return 11 players from last season's roster, and have first-year student-athletes hoping to join the program this fall. Lebanon Valley's returners include four 2025 All-MAC Freedom honorees: senior
Sarah McComas, junior
Catherine Stone, sophomore
Erika Badner, and sophomore
Katie Berra. Badner played an integral role in Lebanon Valley's success last year, leading the squad with 12 doubles wins while tying for the team lead in singles wins with 11. Stone was a key contributor for LVC during the 2024-25 campaign as well, with 11 victories in both singles and doubles.
McComas also registered 11 doubles victories and eight singles wins. Berra posted an 11-3 singles record to go along with 10 doubles victories last season.
Lebanon Valley's other impactful returners include junior
Megan Martin, sophomore
Laken Kelly, sophomore
Emily Bryant, and senior
Nikki Denbowski. As a sophomore, Martin posted a 10-4 doubles record and eight singles wins. Kelly finished 8-2 in singles matches during her debut campaign.
