ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College men's golf team is gearing up for its return to action this fall, as the program will strive to win a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Championship during the 2025-26 season. The Dutchmen are scheduled to participate in eight competitions during the fall slate, including one home event at the Lebanon Country Club.
The Flying Dutchmen are coming off a 2024-25 campaign in which they finished third out of eight teams at the MAC Freedom Championship. This marked the program's best finish at the conference championships since 2019.
"I want to be better, and I think it's trending in that way," Head Coach
Joe Faller said. "We're a relatively young roster, with players who can impact our program now and in the future."
The Dutchmen return four players from last year's team, while eight student-athletes will join the program this fall. Sophomore
Reagan Flynn is a key returnee who will look to build on a strong debut campaign in which he led LVC with a 78.17 scoring average and carded a low round of 74. Sophomore
Brayden Herr will also draw on his first collegiate season, where he registered a scoring average of 81.79 and a low round of 77.
Faller believes the program's veteran leadership will help the underclassmen navigate collegiate golf. These returning players include senior
Lukas Bartek, who has competed for the team over the past two seasons. Former Dutchmen Men's Lacrosse standout attacker and two-time captain,
Jake Bollinger, will also compete for Lebanon Valley this fall as a graduate student. He previously competed for LVC's men's golf team in the fall of 2022 and the fall of 2024.
Lebanon Valley will open the season at the Dickinson Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 7, and Monday, Sept. 8, at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course in Carlisle, Pa. The Dutchmen will compete against high-level opponents, as the event has historically included some Division I and Division II teams.
Another key competition for the Dutchmen during the first month will be the Catholic Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 27, and Sunday, Sept. 28, at Black Rock Golf Course in Hagerstown, Md. The DeSales Invitational will take place on Friday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Olde Homestead Golf Club in New Tripoli, Pa.
The Dutchmen will close out their fall schedule with the Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational on Monday, Oct. 27, at noon, at the Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon, Pa. The program will then resume the 2025-26 season next spring. The full schedule for LVC can be found
