ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley football team earned some national honors on Tuesday as Carter Foust and the offensive line of Trevor Gallagher, Nate Argiro, Logan Milito, Hunter Hanna, and Jeremy Carter were selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
 
The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 27th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are nominated by schools. The Dutchmen earned multiple honors in the same week for the third time over the past three seasons after a big 37-13 victory over FDU-Florham on Saturday in the conference opener.
 
Foust earns his first career weekly award after a huge game where the senior recorded a career-high eight tackles and a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown. Foust recorded six solo tackles with one pass breakup before he stalled a long Devils drive in the fourth quarter with a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown that ended all chances of a comeback attempt and gave the Dutchmen a 30-6 lead with 4:25 left. His interception return is the longest in Division III this season.
 
The Dutchmen's offensive line of Gallagher, Argiro, Milito, Hanna, and Carter had an outstanding day against the Devils. LVC averaged 7.4 yards per rush with 267 yards on 36 attempts. Dion Bryant did most of the work on the ground as the senior had 151 yards on 15 carries and was tackled before the line of scrimmage just once in the game. The line also did a great job protecting quarterback Logan Klitsch, who threw just 15 times but had two touchdown passes and was sacked just once. LVC ran 51 offensive plays and averaged 6.3 yards per play. This is the second time LVC's offensive line has been recognized on the Team of the Week. They were also honored on Sept. 27, 2022, after a dominant performance in a 24-19 victory over Wilkes.
 
The Dutchmen now have 43 all-time selections to the D3football.com Team of the Week, including 16 since 2021.
