ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College football team is set to return to the gridiron in pursuit of getting back to the postseason and capturing a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) title. The Dutchmen are scheduled to play 10 regular-season games, including six home contests at Arnold Field.
Lebanon Valley is coming off a 2024 campaign in which the program posted a 5-5 overall record with a 5-4 mark against Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) opponents. Entering the upcoming season, LVC was chosen seventh out of 10 teams in the 2025 MAC Football Coaches' Preseason Poll, receiving 35 points in the rankings.
"We want to win a MAC Championship and hopefully qualify for postseason play, whether that's the NCAA Tournament or the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series," Interim Head Football Coach
Chris Thompson said. "Those are pretty much our goals every year as a program and as a staff."
The leading returners for Lebanon Valley include two 2024 All-MAC honorees: senior H-back and tight end
Drew Campbell and senior offensive center
Trevor Gallagher. Campbell will look to build on a junior season in which he tallied five receptions for 115 yards and three touchdowns. Gallagher also delivered a strong year as a member of LVC's offensive line, helping the Dutchmen rank fourth in the conference in offense with an average of 345.2 total yards per game.
Redshirt junior quarterback
Logan Klitsch will lead the team's offense this season. The quarterback completed 25 passes for 332 yards and three touchdowns in limited action last year. Senior running back
Dion Bryant will also play an important role in Lebanon Valley's offensive efforts, following a junior campaign in which he ranked second on the team with 353 rushing yards while logging 79 carries and a pair of rushing touchdowns. Additionally, senior wide receiver
Alex Vassallo is coming back after a 2024 season where he ranked second on the squad with 352 receiving yards. Senior offensive guards
Hunter Hanna and
Nate Argiro will return to anchor the offensive line.
Senior
Malachi Partee will also contribute on both sides of the ball as an offensive guard and defensive tackle. Alongside Partee on the defensive line will be veterans like senior defensive end
Luke Ordway, senior defensive tackle
Jordan Blauch, and graduate student defensive tackle
Aonghas Evanick, who each registered 16 total tackles last fall. Additionally, senior defensive back
Carter Foust will look to draw on a junior campaign in which he ranked third on the team with 50 total tackles.
On special teams, graduate student placekicker and punter
Garrett MacClay is also returning to the Dutchmen this year. In 2024, he kicked off 15 times for 812 yards and two touchbacks. Additionally, junior wide receiver
Makih Cooper is coming back after returning 10 kickoffs for 194 yards as a sophomore.
The Dutchmen will open the 2025 season at home against Franklin & Marshall College on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. under the lights at Arnold Field. Lebanon Valley will then begin MAC competition the following week on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m., as the program will host FDU-Florham at Arnold Field.
The Flying Dutchmen will host Misericordia University for Homecoming, as the squads will face off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m. on Arnold Field. LVC will later hold Senior Day against Alvernia University on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. on Arnold Field.
Lebanon Valley will close out the season with its annual rivalry game against Albright College on Saturday, Nov. 15, at noon in Reading, Pa. The Dutchmen will look to prompt the LVC student body to March to Kreiderheim for a fifth consecutive year, during the 104
