ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College field hockey team is prepared to build on a strong 2024 campaign and compete for a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom title this fall. The Flying Dutchmen are slated to play 18 regular-season games, including seven home contests at Arnold Field.
The Dutchmen are coming off a season in which they posted a dominant 15-4 overall record with a 5-2 mark against conference opponents. The program also reached the postseason for a second consecutive year, appearing in the MAC Freedom Semifinal. Entering the 2025 season, Lebanon Valley was ranked tied for second out of eight teams in the MAC Freedom Field Hockey Coaches' Preseason Poll, receiving 39 points to match Arcadia University in the poll.
"We want to reach the postseason again and get back to the conference championship game, so that we can make a run for the NCAA Tournament," said Head Coach
Amber Corcoran '09, M'24. "I think we have the potential to do it, and I know that is high on the players' list of goals."
Lebanon Valley returns 10 student-athletes from the 2024 campaign. Among the pivotal performers are four 2024 All-MAC Freedom honorees: junior goalkeeper
Ella Weidenhammer, junior forward and midfielder

Additionally, Corcoran expressed that she believes that this year's sophomore class made progress last year that will translate to success this season.
