Flynn Leads Men’s Golf at Ursinus Spring Classic

LIMERICK, Pa. – Reagan Flynn finished seventh out of 48 golfers with a 75 to lead the Lebanon Valley Men's Golf team to a sixth-place finish at the Ursinus Spring Classic on Thursday at the Turtle Creek Golf Course in Limerick.
 
Flynn recorded his second-lowest round of the spring and his first Top 10 finish on the par-72 course. The Dutchmen scored a 329 as a team which is the sixth-best score this year. Drew University took home the team title with a 295 as Ursinus College was second with a 314. Just three strokes were the difference between third and fifth place as Muhlenberg College scored a 320, Penn State Berks had a 321, and Penn State Brandywine finished with a 322. Drew's Elliot Parker and Ursinus' Billy Breslin tied for the low score with a 71.
 
Inside the Results
  • Flynn was one stroke off his best round of the spring with a 75 on the day. He had a 38 on the front nine and was a +1 with a 37 on the back nine holes. Flynn birdied four holes, the par-five second, the par-four seventh, the par-four 12th, and the par-five 18th holes with eight pars.
  • Blake Dustin finished tied for 18th with an 81. He had a strong front nine holes with a 39 and then finished with a 42 on the back nine. Dustin had eight pars and birdied the par-five second hole.
  • Brayden Herr carded an 83 to finish in a tie for 22nd. He had a 43 on the front nine and finished strong with a 40 on the back nine holes. Herr recorded 10 pars for the round.
  • Braden Bohannon had his lowest round of the spring with a 90 to finish tied for 38th. The senior had two pars and birdied the par-five eighth hole to record a 42 on the front nine and a 48 on the back nine.
  • Lukas Bartek finished with a 98 as LVC's fifth golfer. He carded a 46 on the front nine and a 52 on the back nine with three pars on the round.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will be on their home course of the Lebanon Country Club on Monday and Tuesday of next week for the two-day Charger Invitational hosted by Lancaster Bible College.
