LANCASTER, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Indoor Track and Field teams continued its streak of breaking program records on Saturday with three more at the Blue & White Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
Ayden Stankus improved his pole vault record from earlier this year at F&M,
Alec Di Cesare broke the 500 meters record, and
Darrian Berkheimer broke the 300 meters record.
Track Events
Colin Winters won the 60 meters with a time of 6.93 seconds. He equals his program record time in the event that he ran two weeks ago at Franklin & Marshall.
Donovan Goundie was fourth with a career best time of 7.22 seconds. His time moves him up to a tie for ninth in the program record books.
Hayden Milchanowski ran a MAC Championships qualifying time of 7.31 seconds. Goundie also had a career best time in the 200 meters as he crossed the line second in 22.93 seconds. That time is sixth on the program Top 10 list.
Ava Matter won the women's race in a career best 26.93 seconds. Her time is ninth in the record books.
Karina Reilly ran a MAC qualifying time of 28.11 seconds.
Berkheimer ran a school record time of 42.91 seconds in the 300 meters to finish fourth. Her time beats her previous record of 43.13 seconds that she ran in 2023.
Charleigh Seifert ran a time of 45.38 seconds which is sixth in the record books. Di Cesare broke the 500 meters record by running 1:08.50 to finish third. He beat the previous record of 1:08.55 run by Kevin Johnson in 2016.
Emily Miller finished fifth in the women's race with a time of 1:26.44. Her time is 10th on the Top 10 list.
Elijah McKell won the 800 meters in a MAC qualifying 1:57.57.
Sam Rothstein was fifth in 1:58.82.
Autumn Garges also qualified for the MAC Championships in the 800 running 2:23.78 to finish second in the women's race.
Sierra Kapcsos was third in a season best time of 2:24.88. The Dutchmen had two new MAC qualifiers in the men's mile as
Wyatt Leitzel ran 4:35.21 and
Andrew Namatka finished in 4:36.56.
The men had three of the top five in the 5000 meters with all three running MAC Championship qualifying times.
Lukas Walko finished second with a time of 15:26.66. His time is sixth in the program record books.
Dylan Lenhart was third in 15:32.05 while
Rory Lieberman crossed fourth in 15:32.44. Lenhart's time is eight while Lieberman is ninth on the Top 10 list.
Cole Lehman was a new MAC qualifier in the event with a time of career best 16:24.03.
Christine Wagner ran a MAC qualifying time of 20:12.20 for the women.
Daniel Murtha won the men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.51 seconds.
Joshua Leidich was fifth in a career best 9.02 seconds. His time is ninth in the program record books.
Field Events
Melena Koutch won the high jump with a height of 1.50 meters (4'11"). Stankus cleared 4.69 meters (15'4.5") in the pole vault to win and set a school record. He bettered his previous height of 4.68 meters (15'4.25") that he cleared at the Diplomat Open in December.
Rachel Snavely was fourth for the women in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.18 meters (10'5.25").
Stankus also finished second in the long jump with a mark of 6.25 meters (20'6.25") on his third jump.
Tola Oyinkolade was fourth in the women's long jump with a mark of 4.85 meters (15'11.0") on her second attempt.
Aonghas Evanick finished third in the men's weight throw with a career best toss of 15.02 meters (49'3.5") on his sixth throw. His mark is fifth in the program record books.
Nick Guerieri had a career best throw of 14.18 meters (46'6.25") that is 10th on the program Top 10 list.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will have another split squad day next weekend as most of the teams will head to Susquehanna University for the SU Invitational on Saturday. The rest of the squads will go to the Ott Center on the campus of University of Pennsylvania for the Indoor Classic being hosted by Widener University.
