YORK, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Swimming teams were led by seniors on the final day of the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships on Sunday at the Graham Aquatic Center in York.

Five of the team's nine seniors competing at the meet qualified for the finals on the final day and six of the seven that swam individual events had season-best times.

Jordyn Grossman qualified for the "B" Final in the 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 55.55 seconds in trails. She was two seconds faster than her seed. The senior finished her individual career with a time of 56.01 seconds in the finals touching the wall seventh in the heat to finish 15th overall. Sierra Young qualified for the "C" Final with a season-best time of 57.82 seconds. She beat her time by nearly a second. The senior finished third in the finals heat with an even better time of 56.99 seconds to place 19th. Noryan Mitchell finished 27th with a season-best time of 59.30 seconds. She beat her previous best time by two seconds.

Justin Kopp qualified for the "C" Final in the men's 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 53.64 seconds. He beat his seed time by three seconds. In the final, the senior swam a little faster with a time of 53.58 seconds to finish eighth in the heat and 24th overall. Tyler Singer swam a season-best time of 58.18 seconds in trials to finish 28th. The senior beat his time by a second. Joe Beidler finished 27th in the 200-yard backstroke with a season-best time of 2:24.43. The senior beat his seed time by 12 seconds.

Lilly McNutt qualified for the "C" Final in the 200-yard breaststroke with a season-best time of 2:50.18. She beat her previous best time by a second. She was fifth in her finals heat with an even faster time of 2:49.72 to finish 21st overall. Rachel King also qualified for the finals with a season-best time of 2:53.61. The senior beat her seed by two seconds. In the finals she was eighth in the heat with a time of 2:55.78 to finish 24th. Karly Kile just missed qualifying as an alternate in 26th with a season-best time of 2:58.24. She beat her previous best by eight seconds.

Zack Fischer was the last qualifier in the "C" Final of the 200-breasttroke with a time of 2:56.66. The senior was eight in the finals heat with a faster time of 2:56.37 to finish 24th.

The women's 400-freestyle relay "A" team of Mitchell, Marina Weidman, Young, and Grossman won their heat and finished on the podium with an eighth place finish in 3:50.11. The "B" squad of King, Kile, Natalie Bourne, and Jana Shaffner had a time of 4:10.39.

The men's relay "A" team of Brian Dym, Singer, Josh Varner, and Kopp finished 10th with a time of 3:39.05. The "B" squad of Beidler, Mitchel Delano, Jacob Herald, and Fischer had a time of 4:00.32.
