LANCASTER, Pa. – Lebanon Valley sophomore
Reagan Flynn carded an 80 to lead the men's golf team on Tuesday afternoon at the Lancaster Bible Fall Invitational on the course at Bent Creek Country Club in Lancaster.
Albright College took home the team title with a score of 294. Franklin & Marshall took second and third with their "C" team recording a 296 and the "B" team scoring a 298. LVC was 11th in the strong field with a 348. Chestnut Hill's Rogelio Gerena took home medalist honors with a two-under 69 on the par-71 course. F&M's Winston Thai was second with a 70.
Inside the Results
- Flynn recorded his third 80 over the past five rounds with a strong front nine holes. The sophomore was a one-over-par 36 over the front nine and had a 44 on the back nine. Flynn birdied the par-five ninth hole and had nine pars, including six straight from holes three to eight. Flynn finished 28th out of 65 golfers.
- Brayden Herr finished with an 86 to place tied for 46th. He had two birdies on the back nine with a four on the par-five 12th hole and a three on the par-four 17th. The sophomore had seven pars for the round with a 44 on the front nine and a 42 on the back nine.
- Brody Rafferty was one stroke behind Herr with an 87 to finish 49th. The first-year struggled over the front nine with a 48 but had a strong back nine with a three-over 39. He had four pars and birdied the par-five 12th hole.
- Max Fisher finished with a 95. He recorded five pars on the afternoon with a 44 on the front nine and a 51 on the back nine.
- Jake Bollinger recorded a 99 in his second round of the fall. The graduate student had a 50 on the front nine and a 49 on the back nine with two pars.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will wrap up the fall season on Oct. 27 at Lebanon Country Club as the team hosts the annual Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational. The shotgun start is scheduled for 12 p.m. in Lebanon.
