ALTOONA, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Swimming teams closed out the regular season on Friday evening with the final dual meet of the year at Penn State Altoona. The women's team dropped a 118-65 decision to the Lions while the men's squad fell 159-34.
Inside the Results
- The women's 200-yard medley relay team of Sierra Young, Rachel King, Noryan Mitchell, and Jana Shoffner finished second with a time of 2:06.60 in the first event of the meet.
- Owen Fastrich finished second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:00.38 while Karly Kile was third in the women's heat with a time of 2:28.17. Fastrich also finished third in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:18.83. He also was third with a time of 5:24.55 in the 500-yard freestyle.
- Jordyn Grossman continued her winning streak in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.45 seconds to touch the wall first by 0.20 seconds. Mitchell was third in 27.35 seconds. Grossman then won her sixth individual event of 2025 in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.32.
- Justin Kopp touched the wall third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.45.
- Young won the 100-yard freestyle in 58.51 seconds while King was third in 1:01.34.
- Lilly McNutt had the third-fastest time in the 500-yard freestyle as she touched the wall in 6:27.56.
- Kile touched third in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:19.85 while Zach Fischer was third for the men in 1:14.23.
- The women's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Natalie Bourne, Young, McNutt, and Grossman finished second in 1:50.63.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will compete at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships that run from Thursday, February 13 through Sunday, February 16. The conference championships will be held at the Graham Aquatic Center in York with the morning sessions beginning at 9:30 a.m. each day.
