HERSHEY, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's golf team had all four of their golfer shoot in the 80s as the team played the first competition of the year in the Elizabethtown Invitational at the Hershey Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.
The Dutchmen carded a team score of 345 to finish tied for ninth out of 10 teams competing at the event. A pair of first-years led the Dutchmen as
Brayden Herr carded an 83 and
Blake Dustin shot an 86. Herr had a 44 on the front nine and a 39 on the back nine. Dustin carded a 46 on the front and a 40 on the back nine.
Brandon Staniszewski finished with an 87 shooting a 43 on the front nine and 44 on the back nine.
Darion Benchich carded an 89 with a 47 on the front nine and a 42 on the back nine.
Inside the Results
- Herr finished tied for 26th and had six pars and two birdies.
- Dustin was tied for 35th and carded four pars and a birdie.
- Staniszewski tied for 39th and finished with seven pars.
- Benchich was tied for 47th and carded six pars.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will be back in action next Monday as they compete in the Weyhill Classic hosted by Moravian University at the Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem.
