LANCASTER, Pa. – Zach Reed won the 200 meters in a career best time and
Matthew Santana finished second in the 5000 meters to highlight another strong performance by the Lebanon Valley men's indoor track and field team on Friday at the Blue & White Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall College.
TOP PERFORMANCES AND QUALIFIERS
Reed won the 200 meters in a career best 22.89 seconds.
Owen Linder was fourth in a career best 23.04 seconds while
Donovan Goundie was fifth in a MAC qualifying time of 23.32 seconds.
Colin Winters finished sixth in the 60 meters with a season best time of 7.21 seconds while Linder was eighth in 7.23 seconds. Goundie qualified for the MAC Championships in a second event with a 60-meter time of 7.36 seconds.
Daniel Murtha earned a top-five finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.88 seconds to finish fifth.
Michael De Falcis ran a MAC qualifying time of 9.37 seconds.
Elijah McKell was third in the 400 meters with a MAC qualifying time of 52.19 seconds.
Alec Di Cesare was third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.40 while
Lukas Walko ran a MAC qualifying time of 2:03.09.
Joe Chukoskie finished fourth in the 3000 meters with a MAC qualifying time of 9:01.30 while
Vinny Ferrizzi was sixth in 9:09.85. Santana finished second in the 5000 meters with a MAC qualifying time of 15:39.91.
Graison Michajluk was fifth in the high jump with a height of 1.80 meters (5'10.75") while
Makih Cooper was eighth at 1.75 meters (5'8.75").
Josh Otto was sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.10 meters (20'0.25") on his first jump. He also was sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.66 meters (41'6.50") on his first attempt.
Ayden Stankus was second in the pole vaults with a height of 4.39 meters (14'4.75").
Trey Reynolds had a throw of 15.17 meters (49.25") on his sixth try to finish third in the weight throw.
Aonghas Evanick was fifth with a career best toss of 14.48 meters (47'6.25") on his third throw.
Cody Shay had a mark of 14.06 meters (46'1.50") on his third attempt to finish seventh. Evanick finished eighth in the shot put with a throw of 13.69 meters (44'11") on his third throw.
INTO THE RECORD BOOKS
Winters ran a career best time of 7.21 seconds in the 60 meters which moves him up from a tie for eighth into a tie for seventh on the program top 10 list. Reed's career best 200 time of 22.89 seconds moves him up from ninth to third in the record books. Linder's best time of 23.04 seconds moves him up from seventh to a tie for fourth in the 200. Goundie was the third Dutchman to run a career best time in the 200 as his time of 23.32 seconds is 10
th in program history. Chukoskie moved into the top 10 list of the 3000 meters with a time of 9:01.30 which is 10th. Santana's 5000-meter time of 15:39.91 is eighth in program history. Evanick hit a top 10 mark in the weight throw as his mark of 14.48 meters is seventh in program history.

The Dutchmen will close out the regular season next Saturday at Susquehanna University's SU Tune Up inside the Estill Field House in Selinsgrove.
