ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team had four student-athletes named Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization.
The Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have played in 90 percent of games or started in 65 percent of games this fall.
The four Dutchmen honorees are
Ethan Groff,
Logan Hicks,
Tyler Snavely, and
Lucas Strange.
Groff is a junior Exercise Science major from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The forward/midfielder played in all 19 games this season recording two points on one goal while taking 10 shots. This is his second consecutive year as an All-District honoree.
Hicks is a junior Exercise Science major from York, Pennsylvania. The defender started all 17 games he played in this season and was named to the All-MAC Freedom First Team after recording one point on one assist while taking one shot. This is his second consecutive year as an All-District honoree.
Snavely is a senior Biology major from Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. The defender started all 19 games and took four shots. This is his second consecutive year as an All-District honoree.
Strange is a graduate student studying for his Doctoral in Physical Therapy from Blandon, Pennsylvania. The midfielder started 15 games and played in all 19 games while recording eight points on one goal and six assists on 34 shot attempts to earn All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention honors.
