KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lebanon Valley men's soccer seniors
Nathan Prex and
Logan Hicks were selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region IV Team with the release of the postseason awards this week by the coaches' organization. Prex was a First Team selection as a forward, while Hicks was a Second Team selection as a defender.
Prex earns his third consecutive first-team honor after the best year of his legendary career. The forward ranks third in the nation in goals and points as he broke his own program records of 21 goals and 48 points this year. Prex added six assists and recorded at least one point in 16 of 20 games. The senior had two hat tricks with three goals in a 3-1 victory at Penn State Harrisburg and three goals in a 6-3 victory over FDU-Florham in the MAC Freedom Semifinals.
Hicks earns All-Region honors for the second time in his career. The center back anchored the defense that posted five clean sheets. He played a huge role in allowing the Dutchmen to defeat Stevens Institute of Technology 1-0 in the regular season meeting between the teams in Hoboken. The senior started and played almost every minute of 19 games for the Dutchmen this fall.
This is the second consecutive year the Dutchmen have had two All-Region honorees.
