ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team had four student-athletes named Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization this week.

The Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and have played in 90 percent of games or started in 66 percent of games this fall, with a limit of six nominations per school. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 16, 2025.

The four Dutchmen who were honored are Logan Hicks, Ethan Groff, Nathan Kimball, and Ryan Simonette. Hicks was selected to advance to the Academic All-America ballot.

Hicks is a senior Exercise Science major from York, Pennsylvania. The three-time All-MAC Freedom First Team defender started all 19 of the matches he played in this season. He anchored the defense that posted five shutouts. Hicks was named the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week once during the fall. This is his third consecutive Academic All-District honor.

Groff is a senior Exercise Science major from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He started all 17 games he played in this season and recorded eight points on two goals and four assists as a forward. Groff was named to the MAC All-Sportsmanship Team this fall. This is his third consecutive Academic All-District honor.

Kimball is a junior Business Administration major from York, Pennsylvania. He started all 20 games for the Dutchmen this season and earned Second Team All-MAC Freedom honors as a midfielder. Kimball recorded two points on two assists. This is his first career Academic All-District honor.

Simonette is a sophomore Exercise Science major from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The goalkeeper started 17 games and went 9-3-5 with three shutouts. This is his first career Academic All-District honor.
