SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Swimming teams competed in the first meet of the season on Friday as the Dutchmen faced Elizabethtown College and Susquehanna University in the Schweikert Relays in Selinsgrove.
The teams competed in eight different relay events including a couple of mixed teams relays. Elizabethtown won nine of the 16 total events while Susquehanna won seven.
Top Finishes
- The men's team of Mitchell Delano, Caleb Sikalis, Roman Schelhorn, and Michael Chismar finished third in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.55.
- Jordyn Grossman, Sierra Young, and Natalie Bourne were third in the women's 3x50-yard backstroke relay.
- The women had another third place finish in the 3x50-yard butterfly relay as Jana Shoffner, Grossman, and Young finished in 1:34.24.
- Grossman, Rachel King, Noryan Mitchell, and Young had a third-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 4:51.48.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will begin the dual season on Saturday with a 1 p.m. start against Lycoming College inside the Arnold Sports Center.
