ANNVILLE, Pa. – Sierra Young won two individual events against Penn State Altoona to highlight Senior Night for the Lebanon Valley women's swimming team on Friday in which Young was one of four to be honored in a pre-meet ceremony.
Rachel King,
Abby Nagle, and
Cara Snook were the other three Dutchmen to be honored.
Penn State Altoona won the meet 116-69.
Meet Highlights
- The women's 200-meter relay team of Hollyn Helsel, King, Natalie Bourne, and Anna Kolacek finished second with a time of 2:29.50 in the first event of the meet.
- Jordyn Grossman was third in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:27.67.
- Young won her first event of the evening in the 50-meter freestyle with a blazing time of 28.95 seconds. Snook finished fourth in a career best 32.56 seconds.
- Noryan Mitchell was third in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:56.06.
- Young earned her second win in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:13.14.
- Grossman made it back-to-back wins for the Dutchmen in the 100-meter freestyle as she touched the wall first in a career best time of 1:04.44. Nagle was third in a career best 1:14.93 while Snook was fourth in 1:16.75.
- Mitchell finished second in the 400-meter freestyle with a career best time of 5:55.57.
- King was second in the 100-meter breaststroke with a career best time of 1:25.67 while Karly Kile qualified for MACs with a time of 1:28.49 to finish third.
- The 200-meter relay team of Greta Plechner, Young, Kile, and Grossman finished second in 2:06.69.
