ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley sophomore Evan Smith has earned a spot on the Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team as announced this week by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization.
 
The Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March.
 
Smith is a biology major from Wernersville, Pennsylvania. The guard played in all 25 games this season making 15 starts and averaging 24.4 minutes per game. He knocked down a team-high 50 three-pointers and finished with 218 total points while pulling down 136 rebounds.
