Women’s Tennis Looking To Win First Conference Title Since 2018

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon College women's tennis enters the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Tournament as the top seed and is looking to win their first conference title since 2018.
 
The Dutchmen dominated conference play during the regular season going a perfect 7-0. LVC won every single doubles match and lost just four singles matches. Jacquelyn McBride and Nicole Honrade are 11-0 playing in the top doubles flight together including a 6-0 mark in conference play. At second doubles, Meredith Haas and Madison Poladian are 8-1 in dual matches on the season and 6-0 against the conference. Sarah Kramer and Eliana Shenk are 9-0 when playing together at number three doubles and are 6-0 in conference.
 
McBride is the 10-7 at number one singles in dual matches and went 5-2 in the seven conference matches. Honrade holds a 9-2 dual record and was 6-0 this spring in conference play at number two singles. Haas has come on strong at number three singles winning eight of her last 10 to boost a 10-6 dual record and 6-0 mark in conference matches. Kramer is 5-1 at number four singles in conference play and is 8-2 on the season. Poladian is 9-7 on the year at fifth singles and 5-1 in conference matches while Shenk is an outstanding 13-2 and 6-0 in conference play at number six singles.
 
The Dutchmen will host fourth-seeded Messiah University on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Shankroff Tennis Center. LVC defeated the Falcons 9-0 in Grantham back on April 23. The other semifinal features third-seeded Alvernia University and second-seeded York College of the Pennsylvania. The winners will advance to Saturday's Championship match which LVC will host as the top seed with a win on Tuesday.
