KANSAS CITY, Mo. –
Collin Jones earned another postseason award this week as the Lebanon Valley junior was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District Team. The NABC All-District Team is voted on by NABC-member coaches across Division III.
Jones was a second team selection in District 5 and was one of just two Middle Atlantic Commonwealth student-athletes to earn a spot on the All-District Team. Hood's Mason Wang, who was named the MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year, was named to the first team. Jones earned his spot on the team after scoring 21.5 points per game and pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game. The forward was dominant with 494 points and 202 rebounds in 23 games including 11 double-doubles. He scored at least 25 points in a game five times while shooting an impressive 52.8% from the field. He did more than just score and rebound with 23 assists, 27 steals, and eight blocks on the season. Jones scored a career-high 32 points to lead LVC to an 82-66 victory over Muhlenberg back on November 13 on the second day of the Rinso Marquette Invitational and had a career-high 17 rebounds in a tough 84-82 double overtime loss to Alvernia on February 9.
