ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley junior
Kate Fitzpatrick was honored by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) on Monday as the guard was named the Women's Basketball MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week in a release by the conference office.
Fitzpatrick equaled her career-high with 26 points for LVC in a tough 77-60 defeat to Moravian in the team's only game of the week. The junior also had eight rebounds and four assists to lead the Dutchmen in a game that was close until the Greyhounds used a big fourth quarter to pull away. Fitzpatrick made a season-high 10 shots including a season-high four three-pointers while also recording season-highs in rebounds and assists. The 26 points in a game is the most in the MAC Commonwealth this season.
Fitzpatrick earns her first career conference award and becomes the second consecutive Dutchmen to be named Player of the Week after
Riley Hevelow was honored last week.
Lebanon Valley will be off until December 30 when they travel north to take on Marywood University.
