Brandon Staniszewski Finishes Third At LVC Invitational

LEBANON, Pa. – Brandon Staniszewski fired a 77 on Monday afternoon at Lebanon Country Club to finish third out of 64 golfers at the LVC Invitational.
 
Jackson Newton of Marymount University and Peyton Mussina of Penn College each shot a 76 to top the field with Newton earning medalist honors on the tiebreaker. Hood College won the team title with a score of 318 with Penn College finishing second with a 324. The Dutchmen split into two teams with the blue team recording 353 strokes to finish ninth and the white team recording 474 strokes to finish 12th.
 
Inside the Box Score
  • Staniszewski eagled the par 5 seventh hole and birdied the 17th hole while carding 11 pars of the day. He shot a 38 on the front nine and 39 on the back to finish five-over par.
  • Mason Baker shot an 83 to finish tied for 18th with three birdies and six pars. He had birdies on the second, 10th, and 18th holes. Baker carded a 43 on the front nine and 40 on the back.
  • Blake Tosto had a birdie on the fourth hole and finished with a score of 96. He carded a 45 on the front nine and 51 on the back recording four pars on the afternoon.
  • Harris Blackwood carded a 97 with three pars. He shot a 48 on the front nine and 49 on the back.
  • Mark Kishko finished with a 103 shooting 49 on the front nine holes and 54 on the back. He had three pars.
  • Brock Stitley led the white team with a 117 in his collegiate debut. He shot 57 on the front nine and 60 on the back with three pars.
  • Lukas Bartek carded a 119 shooting 56 on the front nine and 63 on the back. He had a par on the 17th hole and shot six strokes better than his collegiate debut at Muhlenberg.
  • Roman Byler and Johnny Schlouch each shot a 119. Both golfers shot 59 on the front nine and 60 on the back.
  • Brad Viola carded a 121 with a 64 on the front nine and 57 on the back.

Lebanon Valley will close out the fall season tomorrow afternoon when they will compete in the Turtle Creek Intercollegiate hosted by Arcadia University at the Turtle Creek Golf Club in Limerick.
