ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley men's basketball came up just short in their comeback attempt, losing 61-55 to Widener in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play at Sorrentino Gymnasium on Sunday, Jan. 30.

Trailing 55-47 late in the second half, the Dutchmen battled back with six unanswered points, including a three-point play by
Collin Jones to trim the lead to 55-53 with 2:32 to play.

Widener answered back with a Stephen Matlack free throw and driving layup by Jared Peters to put the game out of reach.
Â
Jones led the Dutchmen with 24 points and seven rebounds, while
Evin Timochenko contributed 10 points and six rebounds.
Zach Tucker added nine points and nine rebounds.

- Tucker's nine rebounds tied his career best, set as a freshman.
- LVC made 14 of 17 free throws led by TImochenko (6-of-7) and Jones (5-of-5).
