ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Lebanon Valley's
Jill Moffatt has been named the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's (UCHC) Co-Goaltender of the Year, announced Thursday. The senior captain also landed on the All-UCHC First Team after another impressive season in net for the Flying Dutchmen.
Moffatt, who also earned Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) First Team honors, compiled six wins in 2018-19 and led the UCHC with 1,185 saves this season. Her .930 save percentage ranked fourth in the conference and recorded at least 50 saves in a game on 11 separate occasions, with her most coming against Elmira when she stopped 85 shots. In UCHC action, Moffatt led the conference with 841 saves and posted a .934 saves percentage and a 3.34 goals against average.
Elmira's Katie Granato was tabbed UCHC Player of the Year and William Smith's Abbey Luth was named Rookie of the Year. Nazareth's Adrianna Brehm joined Moffatt as Co-Goaltender of the Year, while Elmira's Meg Lahey garnered Defensive Player of the Year honors and Nazareth's Chris Baudo earned Coach of the Year recognition.
