GRANTHAM, Pa. - LVC swam at Messiah on Saturday in the penultimate meet of the year in the run-up to MAC Championships.
The Falcons won both sides of the dual, with scores of 134-68 for the men and 124-66 for the women.Â
Ian Lloyd won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:52.41, and
Bobby Burkhart captured the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:05.83, winning by more than a second.
Clay Heebner added a second-place 2:15.31 in the 200-yard IM, and
Garrett Collins was second in the 100-yard free at 52.85. Lloyd tacked on a second-place 5:12.20 in the 500-yard free. the men's 200-yard free rleay, led by Lloyd's 23.20 lead-off and
Ari Gouskos' 23.25 anchor leg, was runner-up in 1:34.12. Gouskos was also second in the 50-free at 23.97.
Kyra Valent took full points in the 500-yard free, swimming 6:02.46, as did
Lauren Skorupski in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.17). The women's 200-yard free relay (

Charis Roberts,
Leslie Hiller, Valent) took full points with a 1:53.33 time.
LVC finishes the regular season Jan. 17 at FDU-Florham.
