OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Lebanon Valley Swimming team had six qualifying time for the MAC Championships on Saturday as they competed in Stevenson University's Last Chance Qualifying Time Trials. Hood College and host Stevenson were the two other teams competing with the Dutchmen.
Inside the Results
- Owen Fastrich qualified for the MAC Championships in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:50.79. Noryan Mitchell was second in the women's heat with a time of 5:50.85.
- Brian Dym and Joe Beidler qualified in the 100-yard backstroke. Dym touched the wall in 1:02.97 while Beidler swam 1:05.20.
- Lilly McNutt was a MAC qualifier in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:16.28. Rachel King was right behind her in 1:18.10.
- Owen Fastrich was first in the men's 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.43. Zack Fischer qualified for MACs with a time of 1:12.03.
- Jordyn Grossman finished first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.92 seconds. She then finished second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 59.73 seconds.
- Josh Varner was third in the men's 50 freestyle with a time of 24.45 seconds while Roman Schelhorn qualified for the MAC Championships in 24.48 seconds.
- McNutt won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:51.23 while King was second in 2:56.54.
- Fastrich was second in the men's 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.66 seconds.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will compete at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships that run from Thursday, February 13 through Sunday, February 16. The conference championships will be held at the Graham Aquatic Center in York with the morning sessions beginning at 9:30 a.m. each day.
