Alicia Hain reset her 800m freestyle record to highlight Lebanon Valley's dual-meet win over FDU-Florham.
Led by Hain's record, the women swept every event to earn a 145-19 win and improve to 3-6. The men also won every race to push their record to 5-4 with a 120-73 score.
Both Hain and
Kyra Valent (who set the 1000-yard free record earlier this year) finished under the old meter mark, set by Hain in 2010-11, of 10:27.76 as Hain was first in 10:10.44 and Valent behind her at 10:24.87. Hain also won the 100m free.
Jan Ikeda swam a career-best in the 50m free to win in 28.62, just three-tenths off the school record, and she also won the 100m butterfly in 1:06.60.
Alayna Kalinay was also a double-winner, taking the 200m free and 100m back.
Krysteena Koller won the 200m IM, while
Marie Gorman was fastest in the 400m free and
Sarah Foery was the top time in exhibition in the 100m breaststroke.
The men's meet was highlighted by a terrific finish in the 200m free, where
Adam Brock out-touched teammate
Blade Umstead to win in 2:11.68, less than a quarter-second apart. Umstead later captured the 100m free.
Clay Heebner won the 100-fly in 1:03.05, then was first in the 400m free, while
Bobby Burkhart won the 200m IM and was fastest in exhibition in the 100m breaststroke.
David Corvino and Tim Carroll went 1-2 in the 50m free,
Ian Jackson took the 800m free, and
Matt Dwyer touched first in the 100m back to complete the sweep.
The Dutchmen host Messiah next Saturday.
