Hiltz Scores Her 1,000th Point in Win at Stevenson

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - #20 Lebanon Valley closed out its regular season with a 73-59 win at Stevenson Saturday.
 
The Dutchmen (21-4, 15-3 CC) were led offensively by Tierney Hiltz, who scored 21 points to become the 10th player in LVC history to break 1,000 points in her career. Hiltz now sits at 339 points this season and 1,001 in her four years with the team.
 
Renee Fritz and Kiely Chaklos both reached double-digit scoring with 16 and 11 points, respectively. Caitlin Bach scored six points to go with a team-high 15 rebounds.
 
Nine of Hiltz's points came from outside the arc, as she shot 3-for-7 from three-point range. Taylor Umbrell hit two treys, and Lauren Ruhl and Gia Russo each hit once apiece.
 
The Mustangs (7-16, 4-14) headed to halftime up 30-26 but were overtaken early in the second half. The Dutchmen opened with an 11-0 run after the break, led by five points from Hiltz and four from Fritz. Stevenson was able to tie the game midway through the half but never took another lead.
