ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Kelsey Grant's 54th-minute goal broke a scoreless deadlock and lifted Elizabethtown over Lebanon Valley in the semifinals of the Commonwealth Conference tournament.

The hosts turned around the same scoreline from LVC's win at Arnold Field eight days ago in the regular season finale, a victory that secured the Dutchmen the tournament berth. The Dutchmen (10-10) will have to await the ECAC selections on Monday to see if their season will be extended. The Blue Jays (14-5) will host the winner of the other semifinal between Messiah and Arcadia in the CC championship game on Saturday.

LVC was afforded only two shots in the highly physical game, while the Blue Jays took eight. E-town led 9-5 on corners, including 7-4 in the first half.

Scoring chances were at a premium in the first half as both teams battled it out in the midfield. LVC's lone shot came on their first penalty corner in the 14th minute, a rip by Lauren Brumbach that was blocked before it got to goal. E-town's best chance came late in the half when Chloe Baro made a blocker save to deny Kaylee Werner.

After the break, LVC's best chance of the game came when Lyndee Sheaffer found space at the top of the circle, but she was denied by Marlena Johnson to keep the game scoreless. The breakthrough for E-town came in the 54th minute when Grant put back Taylor Alwine's rebounded shot for an unassisted strike.

Baro had four saves in the loss. Johnson made one stop.
