GLENSIDE, Pa. - The women's basketball team closed out the regular season with an 85-49 win at Arcadia Saturday.

Freshman guard Kiely Chaklos was a standout on offense for the Dutchmen (22-3, 13-1 CC) with a game-high 18 points. She was also a rebound away from her first collegiate double-double and a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line.

The win was the largest of the season for the Dutchmen, who will host Elizabethtown in the semifinal round of the Commonwealth Conference tournament this week.

Chaklos scored three points in an 11-0 run in the first half that gave the Dutchmen a 34-14 lead with four minutes to play.

In the second half, 13 players saw court time for LVC, and all but two scored. Chaklos and Gia Russo each scored seven points in the half. As a team, the Dutchmen sank 50 percent of their shots from the field after the break.

Like Chaklos, Caitlin Bach neared a double-double. She finished with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Tierney Hiltz finished with 12 points, and Renee Fritz scored another 10.

Victoria Roukas led Arcadia with 14 points.

LVC hosts Elizabethtown Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the LVC Gymnasium for conference semifinals. The winner will play for the championship on Saturday.
