GLENSIDE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley won 12 events as it picked up its first wins of the season at Arcadia on Friday night.
The women racked up six event wins and displayed plenty of depth to win their meet 118-84.
Jan Ikeda won the 200-free in 2:04.06, then added the 200-fly in 2:30.51 while
Julia Mongeau won the 200-IM in 2:26.64.
Mary Gardner won the 200-breast in 2:46.55, leading three Dutchmen in the event with
Sarah Foery (2:54.64) and
Krysteena Koller (2:58.09) in second and third. The women swept both relays, as well.
The men also took six events to win 119-64, with
Dan Weinel touching first in the 50-free at 23.70, just ahead of teammate
Blade Umstead in 23.89. Clayton Heebner won the 200-fly in 2:11.30. Tim Carroll headed three Dutchmen in the top spots in the 100-free at 55.37, ahead of
Bobby Burkhart (55.48) and
David Corvino (56.51), and
Matt Dwyer did the same in the 200-back, winning in 2:19.22 with Umstead (2:19.67) behind with
Tyler Wells (2:44.27). The men also won both of their relays.
LVC returns home to host Cabrini on Nov. 9.
