Jan Ikeda won three events, including a new school record in the 200 IM, to lead LVC at Hood on Saturday.
The LVC women won their side of the meet 138-67, while the men fell to the Blazers 132-61.
Ikeda continued her outstanding start, swimming the 200 IM for the first time and setting the yard record of 2:18.48, winning the event by nearly 12 seconds. It was one of three event wins for Ikeda, who also won the 100-free (56.21) and 500-free (5:33.33).
Alicia Hain was a double winner in the 200-free (2:10.49) and 100-back (1:06.34), and
Julia Mongeau touched first in the 100-fly (1:07.50).
Both women's relays won, with the 200-yard medley of
Rebecca O'Loughlin,
Sabrina Fellenbaum,
Kerri Bailey, and Gabbie Groff winning in 2:09.38, and the 200-free relay of
Mary Gardner, Groff,
Noelle Brossman, and Hain won in 1:51.71.
Kris Roaten was second in the 1,000-yard free in 12:07.62, less than a second off her program record.
The men's lone win came in the 200-medley relay in 1:58.94, with
Eliott Bonds,
Erik Brandt,
Ryan Humphries, and
Shane Miller on the relay. The 200-free relay (Miller,
Matt Dwyer, Bonds, and Brandt) was second in 1:42.76.
The men had a number of second-place finishes, including Dwyer in the 200-free (2:04.98) and 100-back (1:03.41), Miller in the 50-free (25.51), Bonds in the 100-free (58.66), and Brandt in the 100-breast (1:12.19).
LVC will swim at home Friday night against Marywood.
