ANNVILLE, Pa. – Pushing for a playoff berth, the Lebanon Valley women's soccer team (10-4-3, 3-1-1 CC) outshot Arcadia (9-4-1, 2-2) 20-6 in a 3-0 win at Herbert Field Tuesday.
It was another banner day for
Nicole Snyder, who netted a goal with a pair of assists.
It was Snyder who came close to starting the scoring off for the Dutchmen. She was set to take a shot before being charged by a pair of defenders. She used quick wits to dump the ball to
Sara Drabenstadt, who knocked in her fourth goal in the second minute.
Heather Tran was next to strike on a long boot from the far right in the 11
th minute to put the Dutchmen up 2-0. Again, it was Snyder with the assist. Tran has six goals on the season.
Snyder finally booked a goal of her own in the 18
th minute off a pass from Drabenstadt in traffic. She now has 15 goals and five assists on the season. The assist was Drabenstadt's sixth, giving her the team lead.
Sami Young picked up her eighth win. She made three saves en route to her fourth shutout of the season.
LVC plays at Widener Saturday at 6 p.m.
