ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College returned to competition in its home pool for the first time in two months and came away with a pair of victories Saturday over FDU-Florham.
The men won 94-76, while the women prevailed 103-84.
Kristen Zartman set her second program record of the week, breaking teammate
Ally Birli's 200-meter free record of 2:22.93 with a 2:22.29 event win. Last Saturday, Zartman broke the program record in the 1,000-yard free at Lycoming.
The LVC men turned six first-place finishes.
Jeff Bush (800-free, 10:34.09 and 50-free, 26.16) won two events, and
Johnny Schoenberger won the 200-free in 2:11.52.
Ryan Humphries was first in the 100-fly in 1:11.63, and
Tony Shipkowski (1:11.25) won the 100-back.
Devon Stutzman touched first in the 100-breaststroke as well, in 1:24.60.
Along with Zartman's wins in the 200-free and 400-free (5:09.81), the women also had firsts by
Kristine Roaten in the 800-free (10:59.62),
Charlie Robinson in the 50-free (30.94), Birli in the 100-fly (1:16.64), and
Lisa Niethamer in the 100-back (1:16.75).
In relays, both the men's (2:02.63) and women's (2:19.24) 200-medleys won, as did the women's 200 free (2:07.51).
LVC will host Arcadia Tuesday night.
