ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - When Elizabethtown's Stephanie Ellwood sank a three-pointer 2:18 into the second half, her Blue Jays took a commanding 17 point lead over Lebanon Valley.

Eighteen minutes later, the Dutchmen walked off the court with a 70-55 win.

A stunning second-half turnaround saw LVC (12-1, 4-0 CC) swing a huge deficit into a victory over Commonwealth Conference rival Elizabethtown (4-8, 1-3 CC) Tuesday night, winning coach Todd Goclowski's 99th career game in the process.

Lebanon Valley spread the scoring around, with Suzie Noyes, Caitlin Murphy, and Andrea Hoover draining 14  each and Liz Borgia adding 11 off the bench. Murphy and Noyes each scored 10 in the second half as LVC embarked on a 26-9 run over the middle of the half to tie the game and take the lead on Noyes' layup with 6:26 left.

Megan Strohman led all scorers with 20 points and Kaity Snyder dropped 16 for the Blue Jays, but it wasn't enough to hold off the LVC rally as the Dutchmen shot 53.6 percent overall and 5-for-8 from three in the second half; E-town shot just 28.6 percent (8-of-28) overall and went to the line only twice in the second.

E-town could do no wrong in the first half, running out to a 15-3 lead to start the game as LVC suffered a five-minute scoring drought after Sarah Colton made the game's opening bucket. Lebanon Valley clawed back in and cut the lead to a point when Donia hit a fastbreak jumper, but the Blue Jays quickly re-established their edge and punctuated the half with Snyder's buzzer-beater to carry a 34-22 lead into the break.

A 5-0 Blue Jay run began the second half, but after Borgia made a pair of free throws to stop the run, LVC lit up with a Hoover basket and a laser three-pointer by Tierney Hiltz to cut the lead to a manageable 10 points.

Borgia's layup with 11:54 left brought the hole into single digits, and from there it was only a matter of time as the Dutchmen couldn't miss. Noyes' layup took the lead with 6:26 to go, and after Katy Fogel hit a three to go back up one, Hiltz's three-pointer gave LVC the lead for good, sparking a 16-2 run to put the game away.

LVC returns home Saturday to host defending conference champion Widener.
