HARRISBURG, Pa. - Steve Garby earned Second-Team All-Commonwealth Conference honors as he finished ninth individually to lead the LVC golf team to a fifth-place finish at the CC Championships at Blue Ridge Country Club on Monday.

LVC entered the day nine strokes back of third, but shot a second-day 340 and couldn't catch up as they finished with a 344-340--684 total.

Elizabethtown's Kurt Amen shot a 12-over 156 total to claim individual honors by a stroke over teammate Nick Iacono and Albright's Erik Thorn.

After a first-day 79, Garby shot 84 to finished with a 163 in sole possession of ninth, good enough to clinch all-conference honors.

Charlie Fisher was the next Dutchman back, with an 86-85--171 for 21st. Mike Krajnik and Brian Moskevich tied for 23, with Krajnik shooting 89-86--175 and Moskevich 90-85--175, and Matt Snyder was the fifth man in 29th at 97-95--192.
