GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Lebanon Valley College swim teams raced to a pair of wins Thursday night, with the men topping Arcadia University 112-69 and the women winning 112-77.

LVC had multiple event winners on the night, capturing 19 overall.

Individually, Ally Birli, Lauren Horst, and Lisa Niethamer won multiple events for the women, with Birli taking first in the 200 free (2:11.79), 100 fly (1:07.39), and 500 free (6:13.88) and Horst in the 1,000 free (12:31.88) and 100 free (1:00.83). Niethamer won the 200 IM in 2:31.17 and the 100 back in 1:18.02.

Rebecca Edwards also won the 100 back in 1:15.05.

For the men, Kevin Carney won three events, including the 200 free (1:54.54), 200 IM (2:12.96), and 100 back (1:00.11). Greg Kauffman was first in the 100 free (54.37) and 50 free (24.70), out-touching Tony Shipkowski in the latter by five-hundreths of a second.  Shipkowski was fastest in the 100 fly in 1:01.99.

John Heenan took the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.72.

LVC visits Messiah Saturday at 1 p.m. in their dual-meet finale.
