ANNVILLE, Pa
. - Three program records fell Friday night, including both the men's and women's 800 free relay marks, as Lebanon Valley swam to a pair of losses against Widener University in the home finale.

Despite the men falling 108-77 and the women 126-83, the Dutchmen turned in several fast times.

The women's 800 free relay of Lauren Horst, Christina Schreiner, Lisa Niethamer, and Ally Birli demolished the old record of 10:45.21, set in 2003, with a 10:02.78, cutting nearly 43 seconds off. The relay was led by Birli's 2:26.79 anchor leg.

Meanwhile, their male counterparts bested their record as well, with Jeff Bush, Ryan Humphries, John Schoenberger, and Kevin Carney hitting the wall in 8:49.95 to best the record of 9:00.35 set in 2006. Carney's anchor was 2:06.75.

Carney also broke an individual mark in the 400 free with 4:25.89, topping Isaac Greene's 4:28.06 from 2006 to win that event. The senior was also just a second and a half off LVC's 16-year-old 200 IM record as well with a 2:20.60.

Birli was also an individual winner in the 100 butterfly, out-touching Carlee Moir by a half-second in 1:14.11.

Several Dutchmen made qualifying times for MAC Championships, including Miles Mosher and Patrick Barry in the 50 free, Niethamer in the 200 IM, and Horst in the 200 free.

LVC will turn around and swim again tomorrow, visiting FDU-Florham.
