Dan Dunkelberger added 12 points and seven boards, while

LVC committed just 10 turnovers and went 27-for-35 at the line. Despite the final score, the game was extremely tight throughout, and neither team led by double-digits at any point.
The Dutchmen were keyed by an 8-0 run late in the second half that held Messiah without a bucket for a 4:35 span starting with Meehan's jumper with 5:43 left and ending on Jamie Yoder's three-pointer with 1:08 to go. In the meantime, LVC received five points from Kerns and a free throw from Dunkelberger to take a nine-point lead.
After Yoder's trey cut the lead to six, Meehan sank a pair of foul shots to go back up eight, but Drew Sneeringer gave Messiah some life when he canned a three-pointer with 49 seconds to go. After two Enoch foul shots, Sneeringer made a layup, but Kerns and Enoch then converted back-to-back charity stripe opportunitiesto seal the game. LVC went 10-for-10 at the line in the final minute.
LVC will look for another conference win Wednesday at rival Elizabethtown. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
