SELINSGROVE, Pa.  - The Lebanon Valley College women's soccer team scored twice in the second half as it overcame Susquehanna University, 2-0, Saturday afternoon.

The Dutchmen (3-3-1) received goals from Ely Kirkhoff and Christine Fraser in the victory.

After a scoreless first half, Kirkhoff broke the ice just under two minutes into the second half when Emily Bainbridge slotted a short pass in front of the goalie and Kirkhoff went top-shelf.

Fraser added the insurance in the 76th minute when she converted Erin McGarvey's long cross out of a scramble in the box.

Alison Reitmeyer picked up the shutout with a save; counterpart Meredith Tompeck made one stop in the loss. The evenly-matched game saw LVC hold a 7-6 edge in shots and a 5-2 advantage in corners.

LVC returns home Tuesday to host DeSales University.
