ANNVILLE, Pa. - The LVC swimming teams split their meet with Elizabethtown College Tuesday night, with the men winning 113-79 and the women falling 112-87.

The women's 200-free relay of Lauren Horst, Kelsey Sherman, Christina Schreiner, and Lisa Niethamer broke the old program record of 2:01.70, touching the wall in 2:01.45. They were led by a 29.45 split by Sherman.

LVC had a number of individual winners. On the men's side, Kevin Carney won the 800 free (9:24.79), Johnny Schoenberger won the 200 free (2:09.81), and John Heenan was first in the 100 breaststroke (1:18.06). Scott Beesley (200 IM, 2:51.91) and Miles Mosher (200 free, 2:24.74) also picked up points as the lone entrants in each event.

For the women, Ally Birli won the 100 fly in 1:12.79, and the 200 medley relay team won by just over a quarter-second in 2:17.96, out-touching E-town's relay by 0.29 seconds.

LVC will break for finals and the holidays before returning home to face Ocean County College Jan. 10.
