WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The LVC men's and women's swimming teams dropped a pair of meets Saturday at MAC rival Lycoming College.

Despite a strong showing, the men's team fell 142-112. The women lost 156-91.

Among the winners for the Dutchmen for was Kevin Carney, who captured the 1,000-yard free in 10:40.38,  the 200-yard backstroke in 2:07.52, and the 400 IM in 4:38.52. Tony Shipkowski was the victor in the 100-fly, touching the wall in 1:00.92

Laurel Klappholz won the 100-fly for the women in 1:14.90, while Ashten O'Brien won the 400 IM in 5:11.53.

LVC relay teams took both 200 free relays, with the women's team of Christina Schreiner, Lisa Niethamer, Ally Birli, and Lauren Horst finishing in 1:51.75, and the men's relay of Jared Wilkerson, Johnny Schoenberger, Greg Kauffman, and Jeff Bush winning in 1:37.56.

LVC returns home Tuesday night to host Arcadia at 7 p.m.
